Sunway is the top conglomerate winner at the inaugural The Star ESG Positive Impact Awards 2023, sweeping five awards, including two Gold Awards in the Responsible Consumption & Production and Transformation categories, as well as three Silver Awards in the Water Management & Efficiency; Diversity, Equity & Inclusion and Supply Chain Management categories.

Sunway wins four awards at the National Annual Corporate Report Awards 2023, which promotes excellence and improvement in corporate reporting. Sunway Berhad wins Gold for Best Sustainability Reporting, and Companies with RM2 Billion to RM10 Billion in Market Capitalisation, while Sunway REIT wins Silver. Meanwhile, Sunway Construction Group wins Platinum for the Companies with Less than RM2 Billion in Market Capitalisation.

Sunway wins Conglomerate of the Year in the category of Community Well-being Leadership at the Sustainability & CSR Malaysia Awards 2023 for its community outreach programmes, making it a six-time winner of this coveted award, endorsed by the Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development.

Sunway wins Gold under the Sustainability Reporting category for the second year running, and Bronze under the General Award category, at the Australasian Reporting Awards (ARA) 2023, which recognises corporations’ commitment to transparent and sustainable value creation through strategic reporting practices.
