Most recently, SMC was honoured in Newsweek’s inaugural Asia’s Top Private Hospitals 2025 ranking, where we were recognised as the top hospital in Malaysia for four out of five key procedures: knee surgery and knee replacement, shoulder surgery, cataract surgery, and eye refractive surgery. We also ranked second in Asia for cataract surgery and third in Asia for refractive eye surgery. These initiatives, along with our ongoing health outreach programs, enabled us to provide care to over 6,000 underserved individuals last year.
